About Us

Our Mission

Working cooperatively with NCC management at Gatineau Park, the Friends, a registered charity, foster understanding, appreciation, enjoyment and stewardship of the Park’s natural and human heritage.  We do so by providing group interpretation sessions and/or outings to schools, organizations or individuals; hands-on participation, educational material and research grants. These compliment the activities undertaken by the Park’s management.

Support Research in the Park

Contributions to our Cameron-Purenne Fund help the Friends support research projects in the Park. You are also invited to attend our Annual Research Forum to learn about recently gained knowledge of the Park.

In 2012, the Annual Research Forum is taking place on November 17.
