Our lively group has quadrupled in size! We have almost reached capacity and will be capping off the membership in a week or two.
Dryland is over and we are now skiing! We meet in Gatineau park on Friday afternoons for a session of classic technique drills, video analysis, intervals and easy group skis. In January we will continue with the Friday sessions, but will add a more casual Monday outing which could be either classic or skating. For those who are interested, there is also an option for heart rate training and very informal time trials. In the new year we will be skiing in Gatineau Park and at Nakkertok.
Who: Motivated women in their 50′s or older, who are comfortable on skis (nothing fancy, but no beginners).
We are not elite skiers, however a basic level of aerobic fitness is a must. In the Winter we will be skiing on a variety of trails including some of the more hilly ones in Gatineau Park and at Nakkertok.
When: Fridays and Mondays 1:00 – 3:00 (or later)
Where: Gatineau Park and Nakkertok ski trails
Cost: Your commitment, energy and enthusiasm.
Applicable Winter Trail fees (Gatineau Park and Nakkertok)
