Even though it’s been weeks since the last snow trails 21 and 20 and 18 and 9 and unofficial old trail 13 (1983 map) across the beaver ponds were in great shape. No Demsis here. A couple tricky spots in some places but nothing dangerous and far more enjoyable than the groomed trails.

Beautiful sunny day. Great scenery.
Can’t believe what Demsis did to trail 56. From Taylor to the look out it is a snowmobile trail. No tracks at all and yet not wide enough to skate ski. There was no reason for this with the hard pack underneath. It is fast and bumpy but in many locations [...]
