Snowshoes optional!
Snow was softly packed this afternoon on trail #70. Despite not being hard-packed conditions, it was easy to walk the full length of this trail.
Be careful crossing creeks if you decide venture off the trail. The ice is still thin enough and will not support the weight of an adult, as we found out today
