Instead of having the north loop inaccessible the whole summer (which will likely push the majority of cyclists to stick to the Champlain Parkway) couldn’t the NCC lay a temporary platform across the hole when work is not in progress? The cards that GuideGatineau has begun distributing to promote the website are considered to be highly environmentally responsible due to the fact that the paper used is 100% recycled and is produced using energy from biofuels plus the ink is vegetable based.
That would be too complicated for the NCC….
