I noticed a Citizen article about an audio art project in which you are supposed to listen to a soundscape as you drive through the night, in part through Gatineau Park. Here’s a sample:

I don’t know how I feel about this. I mean, as someone who thinks about climate change every time he gets into the car – and consequently tries not to get into the car, I hesitate to recommend driving around just for the purpose of listening to a piece of music.
I’d welcome comments.
The cards that GuideGatineau has begun distributing to promote the website are considered to be highly environmentally responsible due to the fact that the paper used is 100% recycled and is produced using energy from biofuels plus the ink is vegetable based.
Neat, like the ‘Dark Side of the Rainbow”!
Perhaps we’ll hear a bicycle or hiking version someday that follows a route thru the park that’s a little more interesting…
