Dearest Chipper,
Have you inquired as to whether Brunton has any friends with cottages at Meech Lake or in Gatineau Park?
Seems to me many of those who argue for greater Gatineau Park conservation — some of them prominent “green” professors at the University of Ottawa — either have cottages in Gatineau Park, or brothers in law who own 50+ acres of private land in the Meech Creek Valley.
And these are the people who say “keep the people out of the park.”
I really do think I do protest way too much …
And so it goes …

Even the residents that live outside the park, yet near or on the border, have an effect on the Park. But we won’t go there, will we, Mr. Murray?
