Yurt & Cabin – Ski Pass Online System Status

Paul offered a Demsis link that appears to work for online purchase. The URL that was circulated earlier still doesn’t show a working transactional site.

I’ve got reports of lineups for purchases in person at the Gatineau Park visitor centre.

  1. I’ve successfully rented a yurt for a weekend, but it was a trying process. My cart randomly emptied, registration was required (which emptied my cart again), then I had to re-enter my details, issues with one of my credit cards, etc. In the end, it appears to have worked so persevere.

  2. I too eventually managed to rent a yurt online…and it even sent me a receipt…but it is a trying process, and easy to make mistakes. And I’m still not convinced that it’s really booked…I fear someone by phone or in person has the same yurt reservation.

  3. Hmm…

    I just keep getting:

The Demsis transactional web site is currently under maintenance.
    Please come back later…

    Thanks !

  4. very disappointed… the site never worked for us and the phone was jammed all day. we managed to leave two messages but no reply from them yet…

  5. Very disappointing.

Those of us that work during 7am-7pm on a Monday and can’t show up at the visitor center are screwed because now that the system came online all the cabins/yurts are already booked for weekends.

Despite leaving detailed messages all day yesterday.

Bring back the raffle … at least then we don’t all feel equally screwed.

  6. I was happy with the new booking system .I was able to reserve a cabin for a week end for the first time in 12 years!!!For the past 12 years my draw was successful for weekdays only.We had few chances for weekend nights as my children were not authorised to participate to the drawing system !!! I will be glad to sleep in a cabin a saturday night this year , kids will not have to miss school, well maybe they w’ont be to happy!!!!

  7. I have a yurt rented for Feb 12th, and unfortunately my husband has broken his leg so we are unable to use it. If anyone is interested in taking it off our hands, please let me know! [email protected]
    Thanks!
