Yesterday I noted that the NCC had switched their Gatineau Park website to its summer colours. Turns out that was the computers playing a trick on us (to be rectified Monday I think). The NCC actually plans to retain the winter layout for a while yet, I presume until mid April when the plan to stop their trail patrols. Still the glitch did make for a delightful picture (click to enlarge).
What wax do you suppose they’re using?
Evidently the change of season wasn’t visible to those viewing the website from inside the NCC’s network so they hadn’t noticed.

The cards that GuideGatineau has begun distributing to promote the website are considered to be highly environmentally responsible due to the fact that the paper used is 100% recycled and is produced using energy from biofuels plus the ink is vegetable based.
