Remember that story about how the NCC were going to evict a family who had used a cottage in Gatineau Park since before it was Gatineau Park? The Citizen now reports that plan is off. Evidently re-sealing the basement and ventilating it was enough to reduce the radon gas to acceptable levels so the NCC doesn’t have to knock it down after all.
