Below is a summary of the closures in Gatineau Park.

Philippe and Taylor Lake Sectors:

  • The road to Philippe Lake is closed to motor vehicle traffic.

  • Camping sites at Philippe and Taylor Lakes are closed.

Meech and Philippe Lake Beaches:

  • Swimming is prohibited at O’Brien and Blanchet beaches (Meech Lake) and at Breton, Parent and Smith beaches (Philippe Lake).

  1. Err, what they mean is that the bridges to Philippe Lake campground were completely washed out leaving many campers stuck in the campground.
