One thing we didn’t mention during our talk on CBC today was the fact that the map with the old trail names on it is being sold as a fundraiser for the Canadian Ski Museum. The Museum is a registered charity so the $49.99 price has no HST. More on the map here.

When CBC All in a Day airs today’s piece on Gatineau Park’s old ski trails it’s just possible that some lucky listener will have a chance to win a copy of the reproduction 1967 historic trail map. I’m told the interview will run at 3:10. Be listening!

Classic ski conditions were improved from yesterday with an initial grooming pass! Yay!

There are classic tracks right to the Champlain Lookout but some thin spots to watch out for if skating there.

Ridge was skiable where the rocks were removed this Summer – from Gossip to top of Khyber Pass.
