Several posts over at TriRudy show cyclist angst over dangers in Gatineau Park. Evidently there have been altercations with motorists along the Meech Lake Road (where cyclists are forced to go due to the washout on the parkway). The Meech Lake Road is said to have precipitous falls at its shoulders.
Though not directly related, there are continued reports of drivers using the parkways as if they were racetracks.
